I recently read a description of St. Francis of Assissi as someone who lived his life in freedom and joy. What may we know of this holy man?
Answer:
Child this Saint was one to seek to know God. Through his searches, he found happiness in his every hour. His thought was that "if he could spend his time in the contemplation of God", he could be happy for the rest of his life. Therefore, this is the track he took.
He is revered for his Love and devotion to God. he was one to have performed many miracles which are chronicled. There are those who knew him as one who always to stand ready to assist a friend.
St. Francis was not one to brag of his God connection. Truth is, that he was one to say a prayer and see it open fully to an answer. In fact, during his life he was very well known for his prayers for miracles.
In the context of all he did, while he was in earth plane, his prayers were probably the most important part of his work. many followed him because of this grace.
